About Egalia
The Principality of Egalia is a non-territorial nation founded on December 3, 2025 — the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We exist to defend the dignity, equality and inclusion of people with intellectual, physical, sensory and psychosocial disabilities. Egalia does not claim land. Its territory is its people. Where there is an Egalian, there is Egalia.

The Flag of Egalia
The official flag of the Principality bears a field of royal purple — the colour of neurodiversity and inclusion — crossed by a diagonal gold stripe rising from the hoist, signifying the dignity and elevation of every citizen. At its heart, a white disc carries a golden crown: the sovereign promise that all belong, and all matter.
Why Egalia Exists
We make visible what society insists on ignoring: that difference is not a problem to be corrected, but an essential dimension of humanity. Egalia exists for all who live with intellectual, physical, sensory or psychosocial disabilities — and for all who stand beside them.

Order of Defender Knights of Egalia
The highest honour the Principality may bestow
The Order exists to recognize individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the cause of inclusion, dignity and equality for people with disabilities.
Defender Knight of Egalia
Awarded for sustained and meaningful service to the cause of inclusion.
Commander Knight of Egalia
Granted to those whose leadership has visibly advanced the dignity of others.
Grand Defender Knight of Egalia
The highest distinction, reserved for lives wholly devoted to the cause.

Any person, of any nationality, who shares the values of Egalia's Constitution may apply for Egalian citizenship. Citizenship is free and symbolic. Dual citizenship is permitted.
